It was 5 years ago that a hand-tossed pizza brought Joey and Lauren together. They both worked at a pizza restaurant where they instantly became friends.
It was love at first slice.
When we were preparing for their engagement photoshoot, we literally had a vision of them making a pizza together. It was so random and we definitely thought they would turn the idea down, BUT THEN THEY TOLD US THEIR LOVE STORY!!! 🤯 They were totally up to the messy adventure and we loved getting to capture them in their element, joking around and making a pizza together! One could say Joey's jokes were... cheesy. 😆
Besides the clear love and genuine connection they have for one another, one thing we know about them is they are on their A-game in preparing for their upcoming wedding. Joey has been super supportive and Lauren could legit be a wedding planner, haha! In their planning process they picked out a handful of venue options that they liked, but it was a clear winner for them that Magnolia Bells was the perfect venue for their ceremony and reception! (We seriously can't wait for the insane BBQ that will be catered at their reception by The Rib Tickler!! 🤤) And we love Lauren's wedding prep advice...

Their engagement photoshoot took place on the Radiant [Film & Photo] water-front studio property in West Houston! The weather was gorgeous for their golden hour shoot, and we had such a fun time hanging out with them prior to their big day! March 2023 can't come soon enough for these love birds and we can't wait to capture it!!!
